The Business Intelligence dashboard goes beyond the overview KPIs to show you where your revenue is coming from, where costs are running over, and where your numbers are likely to land next quarter. Everything is organized into three sections — a KPI grid, trend charts, and predictive forecasts — so you can move from high-level health checks to root-cause analysis without leaving the page. Navigate to Analytics > Business Intelligence to open the dashboard.
Business Intelligence is available on the Professional plan and above. The KPI grid and forecast charts are not visible on the Starter plan.

KPI grid

The KPI grid shows metrics across four categories. Click any card to open a detail panel with a full breakdown.

Financial

Operations

Sales

Customer

The Project cost variance card is particularly useful during a busy season — a large positive variance on multiple projects is an early signal that your material or labor cost profiles need updating.

Trend charts

Two interactive charts sit below the KPI grid. Both respond to the period selector at the top of the page. Area chart shows cumulative values over time — best for understanding total volume and spotting when growth accelerated or flattened. Line chart shows period-over-period comparisons — best for identifying repeating patterns or seasonal swings.

Changing the active metric

Use the metric selector above the charts to switch between:
  • Revenue — Total and projected revenue
  • Projects — Project volume and completion count
  • Clients — Client acquisition and retention
  • Win rate — Estimate-to-close conversion percentage
The chart granularity adjusts automatically based on your selected period:

Drilling down

Click any data point on either chart to open a side panel listing the individual records that make up that value — estimates, projects, or invoices depending on the metric. From there you can navigate directly to any record.
Drill-down panels show up to 50 records. For larger data sets, export the underlying data and filter in your spreadsheet tool.

Predictive forecasts

The forecast section uses your historical data to project forward. Two elements appear here: Forecast chart — A continuation of the trend chart with a shaded confidence interval. The solid line is the point estimate; the shaded band shows the range the model considers likely based on variance in your past data. Methodology summary — A plain-language explanation of how the forecast was calculated, including the number of historical periods used, whether seasonal adjustment was applied, and the confidence level assigned to the projection.
Forecast accuracy improves significantly after you have at least 6 months of project and revenue data. Forecasts generated from fewer than 90 days of data are labeled Low confidence and should be treated as directional only.

Exporting BI data

You can export the data underlying any chart or KPI card to a CSV file.
1

Open the metric or chart you want to export

Click the KPI card or use the metric selector to focus the chart on the data you need.
2

Open the export menu

Click the ••• menu in the top-right corner of the chart or detail panel.
3

Select Export to CSV

Choose Export to CSV. The file downloads immediately with one row per data point and columns for date, value, metric name, and any applied filters.
Exported files are named ccp-bi-{metric}-{period}-{date}.csv and include the time period and filter state in the first few rows so you have context when you open them later.
