Adding a jobsite to a project
Jobsites are created as part of a project. When you create a new project, you’ll be prompted to enter a jobsite. You can also add or update jobsite details at any time from within the project.1
Open the project
Go to Projects in the sidebar and select the project you want to update.

Go to the Jobsite section
Click the Jobsite tab within the project detail page.

Enter the address
Type the street address. Contractor Co-Pilot geocodes the address and pins it on the map so your crew can navigate directly from the mobile app.

Add the site contact
Enter the name and phone number of who your crew should reach out to on-site — typically the property owner, general contractor superintendent, or facility manager.

Add access notes
Document everything your team needs to know to get on-site and start work. See the Access notes section below for what to include.

Save
Click Save Jobsite. The details are immediately visible to any team member with access to the project.
Address and map location
Entering a full street address enables several features across the platform:- Navigation — Field crew tap the address in the mobile app and it opens in their preferred map app
- Geolocation verification — If your organization has clock-in geolocation enabled, the app checks that crew are within range of the jobsite when they clock in
- Location filtering — Filter the projects list by geographic area to see all active work in a region
Access notes
The access notes field is free-form text. Use it to capture anything a crew member needs to know before arriving:- Gate codes or entry keypad combinations
- Parking instructions and where to unload materials
- Security check-in procedures
- Hours of site access
- Restricted areas or zones to avoid
- PPE requirements beyond standard gear
- On-site hazards to be aware of
Site photos and documents
Attach photos and documents specific to the jobsite from the Jobsite > Files section. This is separate from the project-level document library and is intended for site-specific reference material. Good candidates for jobsite attachments:- Site survey photos taken before work begins
- Utility locates or underground infrastructure maps
- Photos of existing conditions or known damage
- Parking or site layout diagrams
- Any site-specific safety plans
Field crew access from mobile
Field crew access jobsite details from the Contractor Co-Pilot mobile app:- Open the app and tap the project from the My Jobs list
- Tap Jobsite to view the address, access notes, and site contact
- Tap the address to open navigation in Google Maps or Apple Maps
- Tap the site contact phone number to call directly
Crew members see only the projects they are assigned to. Add them to the project’s team under Project > Team to give them access to jobsite details.
Viewing all jobsites
To browse jobsites across all projects, go to Clients in the sidebar and open a client record. The client’s associated jobsites are listed under the Jobsites tab. You can also search across all jobsite addresses using the global search bar.Next steps
