Contractor Co-Pilot organizes everything through a left sidebar that groups related tools into sections. Once you know where each module lives and a few keyboard shortcuts, you can move between estimates, projects, clients, and your AI co-pilot without any friction.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. It surfaces:
  • Active estimates — Your most recent estimates and their current status.
  • Active projects — Projects currently in progress across your organization.
  • Recent activity — The latest changes made by you or your team.
Use the dashboard as a quick-glance health check on what’s open and what needs attention. The left sidebar is your primary way to move between modules. Here’s what each section contains and what you’ll use it for:

Hank

Your AI co-pilot. Ask questions about your projects and estimates, look up client data, or get help using any feature.

Estimates

Create and manage all your project estimates in one place.

Takeoffs

Measure quantities directly from blueprints and PDFs, then push them into an estimate.

Pipeline

Kanban-style deal tracker. Move prospects through your sales stages at a glance.

Proposals

Convert estimates into professional, client-ready proposals.

Invoices

Bill clients and track payment status.

Materials

Manage your materials catalog with current pricing for fast line item entry.

Equipment

Equipment catalog with hourly or daily rates.

Labor

Labor rates and crew configurations for cost calculations.

Clients

Manage client relationships, contact info, and associated projects.

Projects

Track projects from award through completion, including timelines and budgets.

Analytics

Business intelligence dashboard with reporting across estimates, projects, and revenue.
Additional sections in the sidebar include Services (scheduling and service management), Suppliers (vendor contact info and purchase orders), and Organization (divisions, budgets, and company-wide documents). Settings sits at the bottom of the sidebar and covers your account, organization, billing, and preferences.

Hank — your AI co-pilot

Hank is available on every page. Find him in the sidebar or open a conversation from the chat button. Use Hank to:
  • Ask questions about your projects, estimates, or clients.
  • Get step-by-step help with any feature in the app.
  • Analyze cost data or surface trends across your work.
Use the @ symbol in your message to reference a specific project, estimate, or client by name. See Hank for the full list of capabilities. Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) from anywhere in the app to open the Command Palette. From there you can search across projects, estimates, and clients, or jump directly to any module.

Contractor Co-Pilot works on mobile devices. The sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu, and all features are accessible through the mobile-optimized interface.
