Contractor Co-Pilot tracks activity across your account and sends you notifications when things need your attention — an estimate ready for review, a proposal your client just opened, a payment that came in, or a task assigned to you. You control which notifications you receive and how you receive them.

Notification types

The notification bell

The bell icon in the top navigation bar shows your unread notification count. Click it to open a quick panel with your most recent alerts. Click View all to open the full Notification Center. In the Notification Center, each notification shows:
  • A type badge color-coded by category
  • A message describing what happened
  • A timestamp for when it occurred
  • Unread status — unread items are highlighted until you open them

Filtering notifications

Use the filter controls at the top of the Notification Center to narrow what you see:

Marking notifications as read

  • Click any notification to mark it read and navigate to the relevant record.
  • Click Mark all as read at the top of the Notification Center to clear all unread items at once.

Configuring your preferences

Go to Settings > Notifications to choose which notifications you receive and how.
Toggle each channel on or off:
For each notification type (estimates, proposals, tasks, etc.), you can independently control whether you receive in-app alerts, emails, or both. This lets you, for example, get instant in-app alerts for task assignments but only receive a weekly digest for system notices.
If your inbox is getting noisy, switch high-volume categories like project updates to Digest delivery instead of individual emails. You’ll still see real-time alerts in the app.
