Contractor Co-Pilot connects to the tools you already use for accounting and payments. QuickBooks keeps your books in sync automatically. Stripe lets your clients pay invoices online with a credit or debit card. If you build your own tooling, the API key system gives you programmatic access to your account data. All integration settings live in one place: Organization > Integrations in the sidebar.

QuickBooks integration

Connecting QuickBooks syncs your financial data automatically so you’re not double-entering invoices and payments into two systems. What syncs:
  • Invoices created in Contractor Co-Pilot appear in QuickBooks
  • Payments recorded against invoices sync back to QuickBooks
  • Client contact records are matched or created in QuickBooks automatically

Connect QuickBooks

1

Go to Organization > Integrations

Click Organization in the sidebar, then select Integrations.
2

Click Connect QuickBooks

Find the QuickBooks card and click Connect QuickBooks.
3

Authorize the connection

You’ll be redirected to QuickBooks. Sign in with your QuickBooks account credentials and click Authorize to grant Contractor Co-Pilot read and write access to your QuickBooks company file.
4

Confirm the connection

After authorizing, you’ll return to the Integrations page. The QuickBooks card will show a green Connected status and the timestamp of the last sync.
If you manage multiple QuickBooks company files, you’ll be asked to select which one to connect. You can only connect one company file per Contractor Co-Pilot organization.

How sync works

Once connected, invoices and payments sync automatically whenever changes are made. You can also trigger a manual sync from the Integrations page if you need to reconcile immediately after a change. The sync is one direction for invoices (Contractor Co-Pilot → QuickBooks) and bidirectional for payment status — if you mark a payment as received in either system, both stay in sync.

Disconnect QuickBooks

To disconnect, open Organization > Integrations, click the actions menu on the QuickBooks card, and select Disconnect. Disconnecting stops all future syncs but does not delete any data that has already synced to QuickBooks.
